This is a rectangular grid estimate. Printer non-printable areas, die tolerances, registration, bleed, matrix waste, and the supplier’s exact template can reduce usable count. Print the SVG on plain paper at 100% and compare every edge with the supplier sheet before using labels; it is not a registration-tested product template.

Formula
What the calculator does
Usable sheet width and height equal the sheet dimensions minus both outside margins. Each count is the whole number of labels plus gaps that fit on one axis. The calculator repeats the calculation after rotating every label 90 degrees.
Keep the result honest
- Use the supplier’s exact die and template before producing labels.
- Allow separately for bleed, registration, gutters, matrix waste, and non-printable margins.
- Irregular shapes and staggered nests need a dedicated imposition or die-layout tool.
