Local file and layout tools

Print preparation workspace

Check observable file dimensions, plan physical output, and keep a reusable record without uploading your image or PDF. Each result is a transparent inspection or layout—not a promise that a printer will accept the file.

Formula

What the calculator does

Image PPI equals pixels divided by the planned physical dimension. PDF points convert at 72 points per inch. Saddle-stitch page order pairs the first and last pages of a document on the same folded sheet, padding to a multiple of four when needed.

Keep the result honest

  • Uploaded images and PDFs are read in your browser and are not stored with the saved job.
  • The PDF report lists only metadata this bounded inspector can directly detect.
  • Always confirm bleed, trim, duplex orientation, scaling, color, fonts, and file requirements with the selected printer.
